About SA

  • Thus far, being wildly independent has held me back from the “wonders” of monogamy. I’m figuring out what (or who) it will take to balance the two.

I want to appreciate both the finer and simpler things in life, travel the world, and smile every day. Life should be full of those moments where I have to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming.  So far, so good…

My life goal: To travel the world, see amazing locales, experience everything, meet inspiring and soulful people, face fears.

My motto: Live life without regrets and truly feel alive.

What inspires me: Everything. From the voice of a busker, to a wall of graffiti, to a ramble through the woods, to seeing someone smile walking down the street.

Favourite hotel: So far The Sunset Marquis, Los Angeles and The Buddha Bar Hotel, Prague… but there are so many more to discover.

Favourite restaurant: The Waverly Inn, New York City. I actually went to heaven while eating the chicken pot pie and soft buns with honey butter. Runner up: Soulmama in Melbourne.

Best cities: Paris, London, Nice, Los Angeles, New York… this list is sure to expand, hopefully soon.

Perfect day: A sunny sail, dock BBQ and beach bonfire with my favourite people going long into the night.

Some favourite travel memories: Romantic kisses with a French beau in the middle of the Cour Carrée in Paris, sipping Kava in a small village in the jungles of Fiji and feeling my tongue go numb, dancing like I’ve never danced before in the streets of the Notting Hill Carnival, camping in Australia and listening to the kangaroos hopping around me at night.

Dream date: Colin Farrell. I don’t care what we do.

Most precious possessions: My memories, journals, mementos and photos from the past. Hmmm… and my vintage Chanel jacket.

Where I would go back in time: Paris in the 20′s or to Studio 54 in NYC during its heyday.

Perfect dinner party: Dita Von Teese, Johnny Depp, Mick Jagger, Tom Ford, Meryl Streep, Sophie Dahl, Robert Redford, Oprah, Nigella Lawson, me and WT – Nigella’s cooking

Favourite Tales: That would have to be A(Live) at Squamish and Midnight Kisses.
